Delivery Driver

Responsibilities:

    4. Merchandise Handling: This role involves assembling, installing, and setting up merchandise or products upon delivery. This requires attention to detail and the ability to follow specific instructions.
    5. Goods Preparation and Handling: Preparing, packaging, and restocking goods accurately is essential. Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently is part of the responsibilities, ensuring the proper handling and care of items during transit.
    6. Route Planning and Trip Management: Using maps and trip planning aids, you’ll navigate routes effectively, optimizing delivery routes for timely arrivals. Recording trip information such as mileage and fuel costs ensures accurate reporting and cost management.
    7. Payment Handling: Responsible for receiving payments for goods and services, maintaining accuracy in transactions, and providing receipts or necessary documentation.
    8. Vehicle Maintenance and Inspection: Performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections are crucial for ensuring vehicle safety and functionality. Any issues or concerns regarding the vehicle’s condition should be addressed promptly.
    9. Additional Deliveries: Beyond products, part of the role might include distributing newspapers and flyers to residences and businesses, expanding the scope of delivery services.
