Position Details

Medical Orderly

Languages

Education and Experience

To be considered for this position, you should possess a secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Additionally, prior experience in a similar role for at least 1 to 2 years would be beneficial. We value the knowledge and skills gained through hands-on experience in a healthcare setting.

Credentials

Candidates must be eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work. Possessing relevant certificates, licences, memberships, or completing relevant courses will enhance your application.

Experience and Specialization

Proficiency in computer and technology is advantageous in this role. Familiarity with electronic cash registers, price scanners, and computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems will contribute to your success. These skills will enable you to efficiently manage administrative tasks and ensure accurate record keeping.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

As a Medical Orderly, you will be required to stand for extended periods of time. Additionally, tasks such as bending, crouching, and kneeling are a part of the job. These physical capabilities are necessary to provide direct care to residents and assist with their daily activities.
