Job Responsibilities

As a Janitor at Holloway Lodging Limited, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of our facilities. Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing hallways, floors, and stairs to ensure a clean and polished appearance.
• Emptying trash cans and waste containers promptly and efficiently, maintaining cleanliness throughout the premises.
• Washing windows, interior walls, and ceilings, providing a spotless and fresh environment.
• Performing minor adjustments and repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems. Coordinating with tradespersons for major repairs as needed.
• Conducting minor repairs on appliances, ensuring their optimal functionality.
• Performing safety and security checks, maintaining a secure and hazard-free environment for guests and staff.
• Cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms and fixtures to meet high cleanliness standards.
• Working independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-motivation and a strong work ethic.
• Clearing snow and ice from walkways and parking areas, ensuring safe access for all.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:

• Languages: Proficient in English.
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
